Handmade Tradition • The True Taste of Noodles

Low Family Mee Suah began in 1887 in Yongchun, Fujian, China, founded by Low Wenyii, who started producing traditional handmade mee suah. He later migrated with his family to Malaya in search of a better livelihood.

Despite war and changing times, the family preserved the craft, with the second and third generations continuing the tradition.

In 1982, the four Low brothers established “Liu Ci Feng Bao”, symbolizing prosperity and abundance. The business expanded to include handmade mee suah and other traditional foods.

Today, the fourth generation, led by Low Zhisheng, continues the legacy with the brand “LJMX (Low Family Mee Suah)”, bringing over a century of handmade noodles to the modern table.

Silky Smooth • Never Mushy

Handmade mee suah is a traditional delicacy commonly found in Southern Fujian (Minnan), deeply rooted in local heritage and daily cuisine. It is made from high-quality wheat flour and natural salt, crafted through time-honored processes such as kneading, repeated stretching, and careful sun-drying. Properly sun-dried mee suah develops a smooth, elastic texture and maintains its integrity, making it less likely to break during cooking.

Thick Mee Suah

Handmade Thick Mee Suah originates from the traditional cuisine of Fuzhou and is one of the region’s most iconic noodle dishes. On the first day of the Lunar New Year, it is customary to enjoy a bowl of mee sua, symbolizing health, longevity, and good fortune. The noodles are carefully crafted using traditional methods to preserve their authentic taste and texture.

Pan Mee

Handmade Pan Mee are another traditional noodle product from Southern Fujian, appreciated for their versatility and texture. Kolo Mee
